Why do most goalies work hard off the ice, but see minimal results ON the ice?

I’ve been working closely with elite goalies as their Strength and Conditioning Coach for the past 20 years, and they pay a premium to work with me in person, around the globe.

In that time, I’ve come to understand virtually every single problem Hockey Goalies face – and they boil down to a number of simple principles:

  1. Delivering the MOBILITY that gives goalies strength at length
  2. Building STABILITY with strength (my Inside Out Approach to training)
  3. Training goalie STAMINA so you maintain your speed and power

Fixing them is surprisingly simple…
  1. Utilise MOBILITY training modules based on science where you teach muscle control in all positions rather than just stretching
  2. Utilise exercises that challenge entire MUSCLE CHAINS as you build strength in prime movers and their stabilizers - rather than strengthening individual muscles
  3. Teach SPEED AS A SKILL and then utilize those patterns to build the stop and start stamina goalies need to battle and focus through to the final buzzer.

I also help you undo bad habits and we work closely together to put new, killer habits in place. I’ll be showing you some PRO tricks that Elite Goalies use to make consistent gains year round too.

BUT, it’s vital you understand that those new techniques, along with the PRO tricks are just TACTICS… And depending on where you’re at, some of them or even none of them might be suitable for you.

You will need to be very clear about what I’m saying here as your coach, since the success with goalie specific training is about putting in the work and not getting distracted.

If you keep doing the same as you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting the same old results – just like everyone else.

And, as I’m sure you know, most Goalies are HOT and COLD, they lack consistency and spend too much time nursing injuries.
